Kalamazoo and Battle Creek International Airport (AZO) Entrance Road Reconstruction

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** This project includes the reconstruction of Airport Drive from Portage Road to the Airport Terminal building curb front. Miscellaneous drainage improvements, sidewalk additions and tree/brush removal are also included in this project. Questions Due: April 22, 2022 Q & A Posted: April 28, 2022 KALAMAZOO RESPONSIBLE BIDDER: All bidders, including subcontractors, with bids in excess of $50,000 must be prequalified through the Kalamazoo County responsible bidder program. No bid may be withdrawn for at least 120 days after bid opening. Questions regarding this RFP shall be emailed to Georgia Bryant, Purchasing Manager, at glbrya@kalcounty.com. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond by an approved surety company in the amount of twenty five percent (25%) of the base bid payable to the Owner (Kalamazoo County). The bid bond will be forfeited to the Owner on failure to enter into a contract within ten (10) days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract amount will be required. The County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals without penalty and re-solicit for new proposals, and temporarily or permanently abandon the Project. The County makes no representations, written or oral, that it will enter into any form of agreement with any Respondent to this RFP for any project and no such representation is intended or should be construed by the issuance of this RFP. The County also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in proposals, and/or negotiate separately the terms and conditions of all or any part of the proposals as deemed to be in the County's best interests at its sole discretion even though not the lowest cost
