Description

The overall Project scope will be ONE Bid Package for the following work: Bid Package No. 1: All Work 1. All labor, equipment, materials, and services necessary to divert flows from the existing WWTP outfall pipe into the diversion channel upstream of the Tavis Road Stormwater Pump Station when River levels are high and to isolate the existing outfall pipe from the Missouri River during a flood event. 2. Construction of one (1) new concrete diversion structure with two (2) slide gates, outfall piping, and riprap. 3. Construction of one (1) new concrete isolation structure containing one (1) slide gate and outfall piping. 4. Furnish and install miscellaneous traffic control, erosion control, and bypass pumping to complete the installation of structures as shown in the contract documents. 5. Removal, salvaging, and replacement of topsoil, existing riprap, and trees as required. 6. Finish grading of areas to be seeded that were disturbed during construction and complete permanent seeding. 7. Site cleanup, road restoration, and all other miscellaneous work required, not herein mentioned, but inferred from the construction contracts. Only questions submitted by email and answered by addenda are binding to the bids. The Construction Performance Bond may be used at the discretion of the CMAR and payable to PKG Contracting, Inc. Insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful Bidders and certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. CMAR reserves the right to waive bond requirements prior to award. All Bidders shall strictly follow the directions outlined in the CMAR s Bid Package and Instructions to Bidders when submitting their Bid Form. Bidders shall enclose a copy of their license or Certificate of Renewal with the Bid Form. No Bid will be considered unless it fully complies with the license requirements. All Bids will be made on the basis of cash payment for such Work. PKG reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities, and to award the Contracts for each respective Bid Package in the best interests of the Project. PKG reserves the right to hold the three (3) low Bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the Bid opening.
