Repair Fire Suppression Main, Trailer Maintenance B7297

This Statement of Work is for the Repair of B7297. The contractor will provide construction services as indicated by the project drawings. In general, the work will consist of the following major items: Repair existing damaged underground fire suppression pipe supplying the building fire protection. Demolish the majority of the mechanical (mech) equipment in the mech room and piping up to a certain height. Demolish and replace existing mech room concrete slab and equipment pads. Fill the void under the mech room slab created by the fire suppression pipe break. Demolish existing non-used HVAC equipment outside mech room. Repair existing damaged plumbing drain and vent pipe in mech room and under slab. Flush out all existing building drains. Clean out existing oil/water separator. Install a new mech room concrete slab and equipment pads. Install a new hot water boiler in mech room. Install a new hot water pump in mech room. Install a new hot water unit heater in mech room. Install a new hot supply fan serving the mech room. Replace mech room entrance door threshold. Replace existing boiler make up water back flow preventer. Install a new domestic water back flow preventer. Install a new domestic hot water heater. Re-seal many of the existing concrete joints around the mech room. All work will be in compliance with the drawing set.
