Description

To remove up to 50 yards of sandy material from the wharf area of the Town owned Lake Street Landing to make the area more accessible to both commercial and recreational vessels. The following scope of work is required to achieve this goal: Dredging to take place between pier and dinghy floats in the fall of 2020. Dredge to a depth of 6' at mean low water. - Dredge by mechanical methods up to 50 yards of sandy material from the Lake Street landing basin. - Sand to be transported and placed on the Herring Creek Public Beach. - Dredging must take place during fall of 2020 to coincide with the Lake Tashmoo Entrance Channel that is being dredged so that the sand may be spread by others. - Silt screen to be deployed around digging area.
