Central Avenue Corridor Improvements

The Project generally consists of the resurfacing and reconstruction of Central Avenue, from 21st Street to 30th Street and from 31st Street to 35th Street, as delineated on the contract drawings, including but not limited to Hot Mix Asphalt milling and/ or full depth pavement repairs, installation of new concrete curbs, scored concrete and granite block sidewalks, ADA compliant curb ramps, scored concrete and granite block driveways, installation of lighting foundations, decorative bollards, shade trees, semi-circular granite block tree wells, square tree wells with ADA compliant tree grates, speed humps, painting various existing features, reset junction box frames and covers, reset window well grates, replacement of cellar doors, upgrading inlets with bicycle safe grates and eco curb pieces, installation of 3" thick Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course and 4" thick Hot Mix Asphalt 19M64 Base Course, and related work within the City of Union City, and all other associated work as contained in the Contract Documents or as ordered by the Engineer.
