North Flowood Drive Improvements

The project scope is to widen N. Flowood Dr. from Flowood Dr. (MS-Highway 468) to Lakeland Dr. (MS-Highway 25). to a 3-lane roadway section with curb and gutter. Additional Intersection work may be required on Medical Parkway for the section south of Flowood Dr. (MS-Highway 468). The work required will include but not be limited to: removal of existing pavement, earthwork, curb & gutter installation, storm drain, asphalt paving, new waterline installation, and all other work required as shown on the Construction Plans and in the Specifications. The total Contract Time will be 210 consecutive calendar days with liquidated damages at $500.00 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. No prospective contractor may withdraw his proposal within SIXTY (60) DAYS after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of Flowood reserves the right to waive any information or irregularities or to reject any or all bids. Award will be made to lowest and best bidder as determined by the Owner.

Division 33 -	Utilities, Instrumentation and Control for Utilities, Water Utilities, Water Utility Distribution Piping, Water Utility Distribution Equipment, Disinfecting of Water Utility Distribution, Water Utility Storage Tanks.
Division 34 -	Transportation, Operation and Maintenance of Transportation.
