Description

This project has been awarded to McClure and Sons, Inc. in the amount of $4,088,846. This contract provides for the construction of a potable water aeration treatment facility at the City of Lacey's Beachcrest Wells site located at 8905 48th Way NE, Olympia, WA, 98516. The work includes constructing of new treatment facility CMU building and installing packaged aeration unit within the building, constructing a new well building, installing 250 LF of 6-inch and 12-inch diameter water and 285 LF of 8-inch and 12-inch diameter of stormwater main, installing standby generator, installing a stormwater pond, decommissioning an existing potable water well, demolition of existing CMU buildings, relocating an existing building to another City site, installing of valves, piping, instrumentation, and controls, site improvements, landscaping, and fencing and appurtenances and other work. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check for five percent of the amount of the proposal made payable to the City Treasurer, or an approved bid bond for five percent of the amount of the proposal executed on the approved form attached to these specifications. If bid bond is used, the five percent may be shown in dollars and cents or the form may be filled in by inserting therein, in lieu thereof, "five percent of the amount of the accompanying proposal". Check of unsuccessful bidders will be returned immediately upon award of contract. Bidders are asked to "Register" in order to receive automatic email notification of future addenda and to be placed on the "Bidders List".
