Description | Provide all labor, material, equipment, and permits to demolish the existing hatchery and build a new hatchery with all required infrastructure above the flood plain at the Departments Hurd Creek Hatchery, located at 955 Fasola Road Sequim Washington, Washington, 98382 in Clallam County. Work includes: Demolition of designated structures on the existing hatchery site, relocating designated existing ponds, restoring the existing site; construction of a distribution box, raceways, hatchery building, piping and infrastructure for both new and relocated structures. THE PROPOSED HATCHERY RELOCATION IS NEEDED TO MOVE HATCHERY OPERATIONAL FACILITIES ABOVE THE FLOODPLAIN. PROJECT AREA: 62,100 SQ. FT. Engineers Estimate: $9,000,000 The Owner will NOT answer questions received after 2:00 p.m. on October 27, 2022. Due to this threat the scope of this project is to move the hatchery above the flood plain. This shall include construction of a new hatchery building, 10x100 raceways, distribution tower, UV system, office building and water re-use systems. This shall also include all infrastructure and site work required to install fiberglass round ponds and raceways. This shall also include the demolition and removal of the existing hatchery infrastructure including the existing hatchery building and pond structures located on the existing hatchery location. No demolition can occur until the new hatchery site is operational. All transfer of water supplies shall be coordinated to keep the existing hatchery functional throughout the transition. The proposed hatchery relocation is needed to move hatchery operational facilities above the floodplain. |
