Remove soot caused from fire caused by loose fuse in breaker cabinet 2.Provide VLF (Very Low Frequency) cable testing for dialectric withstand of the three Roland Hall medium voltage (MV) feeders (250MCM, approximately 1,000’). Switchgear connections are stress cone, Roland side connections are 200A elbows. Re-connect cables in breaker cabinet 1 and Roland Hall after successful test is complete. Provide report for cables tested, certify that cables are suitable for medium voltage use. 3.Replace Arc Chutes, Arc Runners, Arc contacts and splitter runners in breaker cabinet 1. Use material from breaker 9 for spare parts. 4.Replace upper and lower fuse clips utilizing breaker 9 for spare parts. Replace blown fuse indicators (BFI) as needed. Install fuses (CGA supplied CLE250E type fuses). 5.Test breaker operation of breaker by opening and closing contacts. Check for continuity and loose fitting parts inside cabinet. 6.Perform Infrared thermal testing on all breaker cabinets and report findings and any hot spots. Contractor to provide all materials and specialized equipment (VLF generators, Infrared test equipment, etc.) needed to complete the repairs and testing of the main switchgear Breaker cabinet 9 can be used for spare parts as needed (fuse clips, BFI, fuses. Arc chutes, etc.). The project will require a re-routing of medium voltage power and isolating equipment. Contractor to provide all temporary power for repair/testing work as needed.
