Description

The Towson University Glen Tower Residence Complex was constructed in 1983. The Complex includes 4 high- rise towers accommodating 1,617 beds with a centralized dining hall building and an outdoor plaza connecting the towers and dining. The project scope includes facade improvements to the Towers to cover existing concrete facade, replacement of storefront window assemblies for improved thermal performance, and replacement of existing canopies. In addition, the Tower’s HVAC and associated electrical systems will be upgraded. Infrastructure improvements include underground storm water, sanitary, and water supply line replacements. Plaza improvements include new hardscaping and landscaping. One Tower will be unoccupied and renovated at a time. The remaining Towers and Dining Hall will be occupied and functional throughout construction.
