Description

The SR 241 and Allen Rd intersection in Sunnyside has a potential for collisions. Construct a compact roundabout to reduce the risk of collisions. As of March 21, 2023, this project is in Design status. Preliminary engineering has begun and environmental design is expected to be complete in the Third quarter of 2023. The contract advertisement is expected in fourth quarter of 2023 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the fourth quarter of 2024. WSDOT - SR 241 / Allen Rd Intersection - Intersection Safety *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
