NFIA - Rehabilitate and Reconstruct Taxiway D

The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority, NFTA, will receive bids on a general Niagara Falls International Airport “Rehabilitate and Reconstruct Taxiway D” pavement construction project. Work includes asphalt cold milling and paving including transitions to intersecting pavements total approximately 41,000 square yards, drainage, airfield lighting, concrete pavement repairs, pavement removals, pavement markings and turf grading. The taxiway’s existing offset centerline crown is shifted creating a standard crown. Pavement is expanded at intersections meeting FAA standards creating approximately 1500 square yards. Taxiway Edge lights are adjusted, segments of the drainage system are reconstructed, and concrete intersecting pavements are repaired.
