Description

A. The Contractor shall obtain the necessary equipment and supplies to accomplish the task of replacing the vinyl flooring for unit of 10266-B4, Charlevoix Michigan (Multi Family Apartments). Equipment must be in working order to accomplish the contract obligations. LTBB to provide supplies. Call for appointment to see unit for specific room sizes. B. Work with LTBB housing Department to schedule access to unit and arrange progress inspections. C. Erect safety barriers and signage to cordon off work area for safety. D. Dust and debris from work cannot be allowed to contaminate the surrounding areas where tenants may be affected. Must erect plastic barrier to contain dust and debris in work areas and place protective coverings on carpets, counters, cabinets, appliances, furniture, and tenant belongings in work areas to mitigate contamination. E. Contractor shall clean and maintain work site routinely to ensure occupant safety and dispose of waste daily. F. Supply vinyl similar to existing and according to LTBB Housing Director’s choice. • Sheet Vinyl (low cost) to match or provide similar replacement choice G. Must work with LTBB Housing to schedule with tenant to provide notice prior to work starting. H. Move appliances and furniture; remove toilet, trim, molding to access floors. I. Remove existing flooring from entire floor of kitchen, dining room, and bathroom. J. Remove and replace vinyl underlayment, if needed, in kitchen, dining area and bathroom. K. Replace vinyl with low cost sheet vinyl. L. Reinstall toilet, trim, molding, and replace threshold and toilet seal. M. Provide before and after photos of project. N. Supply all materials required for completion of this contract. O. Upon completion, thoroughly clean work area with vacuum and wet cleaning methods as needed to remove any dust and debris. Remove barriers and containment coverings. Dispose of all waste. P. Contractor shall be responsible to make any repairs in areas where Contractor’s equipment damages said areas i.e. walls, doors, cabinets, etc
