ECAO Comm Room A/C Systems Replacement

The Bureau of Reclamation’s Eastern Colorado Area Office (ECAO) is located near Flatiron Reservoir in Loveland, Colorado. The office has a communications equipment room located at the basement level of the building. The room is approximately 465 square feet and has a dedicated air conditioning (A/C) system. This room houses communications equipment critical to the operation of various power generation and water delivery facilities. The existing A/C system for the communications equipment room has failed. The purpose of this contract is to complete a full replacement of the system. The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, transportation, supervision, tools, equipment, and expertise to complete the following: 1. Remove and properly dispose of existing A/C equipment including ducting and any other components which are not needed with the new system. 2. Furnish and install a new ductless A/C (or heat pump) system to include condensing unit, evaporator unit(s), air handler(s), line-set(s), and adjustable thermostat(s). The cooling capacity of the new system must be at least 3.5 tons (42,000 Btu/hr) and must include controls for low ambient operation (must be appropriate to operate year-round). 3. Commission and test new equipment. 4. Furnish all manuals and documentation associated with the installed equipment.
