Flexible Base, Type A, Grade 1

The Commissioners Court of Nueces County (hereinafter called the County) will accept sealed competitive bids for Flexible Base, Type A, Grade 1 in accordance with the Testing requirements, Specifications, and other Contract Documents prepared by Nueces County. The contract is to furnish the Nueces County Department of Public Works with approximately twenty-five thousand (25,000) tons of Flexible Base, Type A, Grade 1 for a term of twelve (12) months with the option to renew. Each renewal; if mutually acceptable to the Bidder and Nueces County; will be in twelve (12) month increments, not to exceed two (2) additional years past the initial term. The County reserves the right to have the materials delivered or to pick it up at the Bidders shipping point. There shall be no minimum order or shipment requirements of any kind. The award of this contract will be made to the Bidder who provides the lowest and best bid cost meeting specifications. In the event this contract expires before another contract is awarded, the Contractor shall extend the contract on a month-to-month basis by mutual agreement. All forms in Bid Packet and all requirements in Statement of Credentials are to be completed, signed, dated and returned by the Due Date/Time shown below. Required Forms (to be completed, signed, dated and included with bid submission): Bid Response Form Non-Collusion Affidavit Conflict of Interest Questionnaire (CIQ Form) Debarment Statement Statement of Credentials Certificate of Interested Parties - Form 1295 (if applicable) Completed Bid Response Form and all Required Form shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked showing the IFB Number and Project Name for which the bids are intended and the name and address of the Bidder.
