Description

ALL CORRESPONDENCE TO INCLUDE QUESTIONS AND SUBMISSION OF OFFERS ARE TO BE SENT TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER ONLY. amy.heusser@gsa.gov END of AMEND 0002 Notice NOTICE: Site Visit #2 July 26, 2022 Notice Posted 7/13/2022 The clauses at FAR 52.236-2 Differing Site Conditions and FAR 52.236-3 Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Note this is the 2nd site visit for this solicitation. This site visit will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 beginning at 8:30 AM. Pre-registration is required for all attendees. Prime Contractors (HUBZone) are limited to no more than six (6) attendees representing their company. Prime Contractors are required to submit an email to the Contracting Officer with the number of attendees for their company no later than 1:00 PM Alaska Time on Monday, July 24, 2022. The number of attendees and all correspondence is to be submitted to the Contracting Officer ONLY - amy.heusser@gsa.gov. Attendee groups are limited to 15 attendees. If necessary, additional site visits may be scheduled later the same day by the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer will provide additional information to each Prime Contractor with location of the start for the site visit and confirmation of the time for the site visit (depending if additional site visit times are necessary). This additional information will be provided on receipt of the email with the number of attendees submitted by the Prime Contractor to the Contracting Officer. Attendees might be required to wear the face mask during the site visit or at specific locations within the Historic Federal Building. Each person entering will be screened by the Federal Protective Service Officers. Persons entering the building may not bring weapons, knives or other objects that could be considered as a breach of security requirements. Attendees are responsible for parking and associated fees, and should allow additional time for parking so that the attendees arrive on time for the site visit. END OF NOTICE SITE VISIT ATTENDEE LIST - Posted 6/29/2022 SOLICITATION NOTICE POSTED 06/21/2022 Request for Proposals (RFP) for a construction contract for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the Historic Federal Building in Anchorage, Alaska. This solicitation is a construction (single phase) solicitation. A price proposal and technical proposal are required. Pre-Solicitation Notice posted 6/3/2022; Notice ID EQ10PCP220012. Project Scope: The objective of this project is for tenant improvements and modernization of office space for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the Historic Federal Building in Anchorage, Alaska. The work has been fully designed. This contract will be for construction only. This project proposes to develop 11,042 USF for ICE in the Anchorage Historic Federal Building. ICE will occupy most of the west wing and some of the south wing of the lower level, and the entire lower level "NARA Admin" area of the 1958 addition. The construction contractor must consider the GSA's historic preservation plan for the building and potential impacts to historic character defining features. Construction must avoid impacts that diminish the historic integrity of character defining features. Construction must avoid compromising of facilities structural integrity. The facility will remain fully occupied during construction. Magnitude of Construction is between $3.2 to $3.7 Million. PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at the start of the site visit scheduled for June 28, 2022. The pre-proposal conference will provide instructions for submitting offers for this solicitation. SITE VISIT: A Site Visit will be held June 28, 2022 beginning at 8:30 AM Alaska Time at the Historic Federal Building, Anchorage, AK.
