QA Deadline : 07/19/2022 02:00 PM EDT Contract Estimated Cost General Contract: $447,300.00 Alternate 1 - Corridor Finishes, Lighting and Devices $ 18,700.00 Alternate 2 - Demolition in Rooms 0104, 0106, 0106A and 0106B $ 14,910.00 Alternate 3 - Heat Exchanger with Glycol Loop $31,200.00 Alternate 4 - Corridor Doors and Hardware $ 40,000.00 THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING: - 1,800 SF OF RENOVATION/DEMO OF EXISTING LAB SPACE. - ASSOCIATED MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, AND PLUMBING WORK - NO NEW SQUARE FOOTAGE - OCCUPANT LOAD REMAINS UNCHANGED FROM EXISTING The following items of work only represent a portion or highlights portions of the work of this contract. It is strongly encouraged that all bidders visit the proposed site and read and understand not only these sections of work but all scopes of work, general and special conditions of this contract as well. The contents of the following scope of work supersede notations on the drawings pertaining to scope responsibility. 3. Conflicting Information - If conflicting information exists on the Bid Documents the Contractor shall comply with the most stringent quality and highest quantity requirement. 4. Furnish and install all items listed in this scope of work to make a complete working system unless otherwise noted. 5. Review all drawings and notes and coordinate work with respective contractors. 6. Engineering layout and control as required to complete the respective work items of this bid package. 7. Coordinate all phasing, site access, and Owner provided items with Owner. 8. All trade permits, licenses, fees, and inspection required to complete this work are to be by contractor. 9. All Materials and/or testing and inspections required for this scope of work as listed in the specifications. All copies of the field reports and tests will be copied and submitted to the Owner's Representative as specified in the specifications. Any areas that fail to satisfy specifications could result in taking action against this contractor per Article 5 of the General Conditions for this contract. Contractor to notify the Owner's Representative the same day of any and all non-conforming test results. (Testing Cost will be by Owner) 10. Barricades, rails, flashing lights, signs, and any other safety requirements for this scope of work to meet all state and OSHA guidelines. 11. As-built drawings updated throughout the course of the project. Owner's Representative may review as-built drawings no less than once monthly for verification that current changes in location and elevation are being recorded 12. All openings must be protected according to OSHA standards. 13. Provide temporary facilities as indicated in the Specifications. 14. Contractor responsible to provide dumpsters, temporary toilets and fire extinguishers,. 15. All electrical work shall conform to the National Electric Code, Federal, State and Local requirements. 16. Provide all safety measures for temporary and permanent power that meets all state and OSHA guidelines. For example (GFIC receptacles, lock out tag out, locked out breaker panels when energized, warning signs). 17. General building permit will be obtained by the Architect. All other trade permits, licenses, fees, and inspections required to complete this work are to be by this contractor. 18. Schedule and provide owner training of all systems that are part of this contract including videotaping of the training sessions.
