Water Plant No. 1 and No. 2 Improvements

Contractor to Furnish all materials, labor, equipment and appurtenances for the rehabilitation of existing Water Treatment Plant No. 1 including but not limited to power washing, abrasive blasting, and applying corrosion resistant coating to interior and exterior the 300,000-gallon Ground Storage Tank No. 2 along with all hatches, pipes, and other appurtenances, removal and replacement of the interior access ladder and Saf-T-Climb safety rail, and installation of a non-skid walkway.Scope of work also includes power washing, abrasive blasting, and applying corrosion resistant coating to interior and exterior of the 15,000-gallon Hydropneumatic Tank No.2 including all hatches, piping and other appurtenances, and removing and replacing existing Hydropneumatic Tank No. 2 – 4” drainage valve. Shrouding of Ground Storage Tank and Hydropneumatic tank will be required when executing external work only. Shrouding will not be required for internal tank work. Contractor to cover vents during internal blasting operations.Furnish, erect, and paint two rain shelters/canopies over the existing booster pump stations located at Water Plant No. 1 and No. 2, as shown in plans. Rain shelters/canopies to be complete with reinforced concrete drilled shafts for column supports. Complete in Place. Contractor shall be responsible for removing all construction generated debris and cleaning up the sites to pre-construction condition.
