Description

To build a solar power facility above the Fort Stanton Reservoir, then operate and manage that facility during its productive lifetime. Project objectives include (1) the production of renewable energy; (2) generation of revenue through sale of solar renewable energy credits (SRECs); (3) reduction of Authority energy costs or generation of revenue through sale of energy generated; (4) reduction of the Authority's or the broader community's carbon footprint; (5) sustainability and equity for DC Water ratepayers. DC Water seeks a qualified owner's representative and project manager for the Fort Stanton Solar Panel project that will advise DC Water during the course of the project from design-build procurement through system commissioning. DC Water anticipates awarding a single contract for an estimated amount of $350K with a contract duration of three (3) years with two (2) options.
