Valve Inspection, Testing, Exercising, and Assessment of Large Valves

Prospective bidders will be required to submit a valid fax number where addenda can be sent. NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE BID OPENING HAS COMMENCED. Bids must be prepared and submitted using the standard Proposal Form which is provided in the bid document package. Each bidder shall submit one (1) original of their proposal, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name of the bidder and clearly marked "Valve Inspection, Testing, Exercising, and Assessment of Large Valves (16-inch & above), for City of Newark Water Distribution & Transmission System & Related Facilities". Facsimile transmissions (faxes) and Email will not be accepted. The guarantee of the successful bidder will be returned upon execution of the contract. All guarantees of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned upon award of contract to the successful bidder. INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED EXACTLY OR THE BID MAY BE DECLARED NON-RESPONSIVE. The right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in any bid is reserved if such an action is not detrimental to the interest of the City of Newark. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. (P.L. 1975, c.127) and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1 et seq., concerning affirmative action, and any amendment thereto, and P.L. 1977, c. 33, which refers to the statement of corporation ownership.
