Scope of Work The work contemplated under this contract with the Owner, includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and services necessary for, and reasonably incidental to, the completion of all construction work in connection with the project described in the Project Manual which includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the Notice of Public Improvement Contract Opportunity, Instructions to Bidders, Supplemental Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Bid Bond, Public Improvement Contract Form, Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Clackamas County General Conditions for Public Improvement Contracts (10/13/2021), Supplemental General Conditions, and Plans, Specifications and Drawings. Engineers Estimate: $350,000.00 SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION DATE: September 1, 2022 FINAL COMPLETION DATE: October 31, 2022 The material to be removed is clean fill material that was excavated and stockpiled during a construction project in 2008. Prior to soil disturbing activities, contractor to install erosion control precautions which need to be maintained through project completion. The area is currently vegetated and will require clearing and grubbing prior to fill removal. Fill in this area needs to be removed to the flood plain elevation of 48.00 using North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD).The site is on top of the old Rossman landfill. If municipal solid waste is encountered, Contractor to halt removal in that location and contact district. Disturbance of the cap is not permitted. All costs and delays will be contractor's responsibility. WES will work with contractor to install signage along the adjacent pedestrian trail to notify the public of the soil removal activities.
