Description | The Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) is issuing a Request For Bid (RFB) for the complete replacement of the existing flocculation system in the 1958 Pretreatment Train (referred to herein as the "Work"). Question Deadline 02/09/2023 at 9:00 AM ET The GLWA Springwells Water Treatment Plant (SPWTP) is a conventional surface water treatment plant that uses rapid mixing, alum coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, granular media filtration, and free chlorine disinfection. The plant is located at 8300 W. Warren Avenue, Dearborn, Michigan and consists of two (2) trains, constructed in the 1930s and mid-1950s respectively. The existing flocculation system at the SPWTP 1958 train has reached the end of its useful life and requires replacement. |
