5th Street Parking Lot Bioretention Project

The Town of Warrenton is accepting bids from qualified, Class A contractors to provide construction services to construct a bioretention swale below the 5th Street parking lot to filter runoff from the parking lot prior to discharge to the stream from the Dog Park and Town drainage to Washington Street. This will include excavating the existing soil and creating the bioretention bedding and subdrain system, which connects to the creek discharge according to the contract drawings. The contract time period is for 180 calendar days with the contractor subject to $500 per day liquidated damages for any delays in substantial completion beyond that time period. Question Deadline 06/24/2022 at 4:30 PM ET The due date for submitting questions related to this IFB will be questions submitted on or before June 24, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. will be answered and uploaded Town website. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive all informalities. In the event the Town Manager chooses to reject all bids, the Town will re-advertise or make the purchase on the open market. The Town, through its duly adopted policies, may reject any or all bids.
