Donjoy Drive Sidewalk Reconstruction

1. Pathway Remove and replace asphalt path with concrete path as shown in the provided drawings and as indicated in the specifications. A bollard must be installed at each end of the path within the project area for a total of two bollards. Precise location to be decided by Engineer/Owner in the field. 2’x4’ truncated domes must be installed where the path meets DonjoyDrive. The cost of the truncated domes to be incidental to the concrete walk cost. 2. Drainage Install underdrains and cleanouts as shown in the drawings. Also provide 12” PVC pipe under pathway as shown in the drawings and as indicated in the specifications. 3. Chain Link Fence – BASE BID If Alternate One IS NOT accepted, then in addition to removing the old chain link fence and replacing with the new black coated chain link fence as shown on the drawing (169 LF), the chain link fence must also be extended the distance of the privacy fence (280 LF), and installed just inside of the privacy fence on both sides of the path for a total of 448 LF of chain link fence. If Alternate 1 is accepted, then Alternate 2 will also be accepted, deducting 280 LF of chain link from this line item bringing a total of 168 LF of chain link. 4. Privacy Fence – BASE BID Remove old privacy fence on both sides of the path as indicated in the drawings and replace with Husker Vinyl, 6' tall Highland Privacy Fence OR approved equal, and all necessary compatible parts, materials, and labor to install the fence in its entirety. There is an electrical conduit mounted to the privacy fence on the east side fence, and this will be removed and replaced by the City before and after the project. This Item will be non-performed if Alternate One – Privacy Fence is accepted, as it will be in place of this item.
