Playground Surfacing Repairs and Poured-in-Place Overlay - Ocean City Primary School

The project consists of, but is not limited to, the repairs to an existing poured-in-place synthetic playground and overlay with a new synthetic turf system. Contractor's Construction Option 1: Construction shall begin on or about 19 June 2023 and shall be substantially completed on or before 05 July 2023. Contractor's Construction Option 2: Construction shall begin on or about 01 August 2023 and shall be substantially completed on or before 26 August 2023. Registered Bidders must submit substitution requests or any questions concerning the project to Regan Young England Butera on Form 006001 BIDDER REQUEST FOR INFORMATION included in the Project Manual no later than 1:00 PM on 31 March 2023. The withdrawal or modification to a Bid after the bid opening is not permitted. All bid security, except for the security of the three apparent lowest responsible Prime Bidders shall, if requested, be returned after ten days from the opening of the bids, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted, and the bids of such Prime Bidders shall be considered as withdrawn. The Ocean City Board of Education will return the remaining bidders security in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18a-36(a). The OCEAN CITY BOARD OF EDUCATION has the right to award the contracts within sixty (60) days of the bid opening and reserves the right to reject bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22 and to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions, as may be permitted by law. Bidders are advised that the Ocean City Board of Education reserves the right to cancel this Project at any time due to any unforeseen circumstances that arise in connection with any Public Emergency and funding related to same. By submitting a bid, Prime Bidders waive, on behalf of themselves and their Subcontractors, any potential claim for increased costs, loss of profits, delay damages, or other similar consequential and direct damages incurred due to the District's Termination of the Project.
