Lowes Grove Middle School Brick Veneer Repairs

Provide mock-up for brick, mortar and sealant selections. Provide helical anchor testing, performed by the anchor manufacturer, to determine appropriate anchor diameter and length. Provide and install stainless steel helical wall tie used to anchor and stabilize brick walls. Remove the existing ladder type brick tie from the brick mortar bed. Remove and replace all chipped, cracked and damaged bricks. Prepare and paint all steel lintels and beams, replace steel lintels and beams where indicated in the drawings, install new flexible flashing and stainless steel drip edge. Install new flexible flashing and stainless-steel receiver and counterflashing above existing roofing system where indicated. Repoint replaced, damaged, and deteriorated mortar joints. Prepare and paint wood furring/framing at fenestration. Prepare and replace all exterior sealant joints at fenestrations with silicone sealant. Prepare and clean all brick surfaces to remove contamination, including paint graffiti, and apply a water repellent.
