Description

This project will widen the existing two-lane section of Blue Ridge Road from Duraleigh Road to Crabtree Valley Avenue to three-lanes with curb and gutter, sidewalks, and bicycle facilities. As of May 31, 2023, this project is in the permitting phase, and has been split into two sections for construction. Blue Ridge Road South is from Duraleigh Road to just east of Homewood Banks Drive and could advertise for construction bids in summer 2023. Construction is expected to start in fall 2023 with completion in summer 2025.
