Fire Station 7 Roof Replacement

Bid must be signed or bid will be rejected Specifications: The City of Jonesboro is accepting bids for a replacement Roofing on the Fire Station # 7 located at 8461 C.W. Post Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401 Install one layer 1" Insulation board over existing roof and shall be mechanically attached minimum 12 fasteners per square. Mechanically fasten new .60 mil White TPO roof system over 1" Insulation using mechanical fasteners Flash all walls to provide a water tight finish as pre manufactures requirements Install all roof related accessories to provide a watertight condition as pre manufacture requirements Fabricate and install new 24 gauge Kynar pre-finished coping cap Fabricate and install new 24 gauge Kynar pre-finished counter flashing Fabricate and install new TPO coated scuppers. Clean up and remove all job related debris Provide Manufacture warranty Performance Bond: The successful Bidder shall furnish a surety bond in the penal sum not less than the bid amount as awarded, as security for the faithful performance of this project, and for the payment of all persons, firms or corporations to whom the Contractor may be legally indebted for labor, materials, tools, equipment or services of any nature, including, utility and transportation services employed or used by him in performing the work. The current power of attorney for the person who signs for any surety company shall be attached to such bond. Insurance Requirements: Bidder shall furnish an approved certificate of insurance addressed to the Owner, showing that he carries the following insurance which shall be maintained throughout the term of the Project (1) Workmen's Compensation -Statutory Limit (2) Employer's Liability for Hazardous Work - If Needed (3) Public Liability (Bodily Injury / property damage) - $1,000,000/occurrence (4) Builder's Risk - Insurable Portion The Bidder shall carry or require that there be carried the insurance listed in (1) through (3) above for the protection of all his employees and those of his Subcontractors engaged in work under this bid, and for the protection of the public. The premiums for all insurance and the bond required herein shall be paid by the Contractor. The Owner requires the Bidder to name The City of Jonesboro as an additional insured on their protective Liability insurance, which shall be in force for the entire project period.
