Beach Boulevard Drainage Improvements

Work on which proposals are invited consists of the construction of a 4'x 8' single cell, concrete box culvert and approach roadways. The attention of bidders is directed to the State and Federal Requirements within this Contract. Contract time shall be 65 working days. Proposals must be accompanied by a Proposal Guaranty consisting of a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid. If any envelope is not so marked, any bid contained therein will not be considered. Any bids received after the time and date specified will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The County reserves the right to reject all bids, to waive any informalities and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which, however, shall not extend beyond 60 days from the bid opening date. The Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that minority business enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
