Indoor Aquatic Center and Outdoor Water Park - Henry County

Plans call for the construction of a 2-story, 54,225 square foot heated indoor aquatic facility and an outdoor water park. The Type II building includes a 50-meter competition pool, therapy warm pool and outdoor zero-entry, lazy river, activity pool with water feature/ slides and associated site work. As of April 18, 2023, the building and site plans are under plan review. An architect has been selected. An RFP will be advertised publicly once stamped/ approved plans are obtained by the owner. Proposals may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by OCGA. Henry County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
