Washington Mechanical Improvements and Lincoln Boiler Replacement

The scope of work involves improvements to two different building systems at Washington Elementary School and Lincoln Elementary School: The Work can be summarized as follows: Mechanical Improvements at Washington Elementary School: the scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, renovations within the boiler room consisting of replacing (1) expansion tank, (1) air separator & (2) pumps. It is understood that there have been long-standing issues with the operation of the chiller and the operating pressures/flow in the hydronic piping when in cooling mode. This issue will be reviewed and rectified as part of the overall boiler plant upgrade project. Boiler Replacement and Mechanical Improvements at Lincoln Elementary School: the scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, renovations within the boiler room consisting of replacing (3) existing boilers, (1) expansion tank, (2) pumps & (1) air separator. Provide for the automatic temperature control systems, with BACnet outputs as appropriate, for integration of all new equipment specified into the school building management system (BMS). It is also understood that there has been a long-standing issue with the operation of the chiller and the operating pressures/flow in the hydronic piping when in cooling mode. This issue will be reviewed and rectified as part of the overall boiler plant upgrade project.
