| Description | The County has 87 elevators, dumbwaiters, and wheelchair lifts requiring full-service maintenance in 31 County-owned locations. These lifts include hydraulic and electric units used for freight, passenger elevators, and security elevators that transport inmates in jails and holding cells. Manufacturers include Dover, U.S. Elevator, Otis, Montgomery, Schindler, Motion, Home and Independent. These elevators service requirements include full service, emergency services, routine maintenance, routine safety inspections, and emergency telephone monitoring.
