Description

Contractor will install a new lift station and force main, and abandon the existing sewage lagoon. Contractor must clear trees from the lagoon area, use 4025 cubic yards of soil from adjacent berms to fill in the lagoon, and grub and grade topsoil to the surrounding landscape. Contractor will install and connect a new manhole to the existing 8” sewer main, and abandon one existing manhole. Near the new manhole, the contractor will also install a new prepackaged lift station, which includes a hydrant and 430-foot long 1” water service line to the lift station. Contractor will directionally drill 1250 feet of 1.5” sewer force main at a minimum depth of 7 feet, then intercept the existing sewer main at another manhole. Contractor will also create a gravel access road of 2700 square feet to the lift station.
