Description | Remove existing (4) ceiling hung Gas unit heaters. Provide new (4) 7.5 Ton Trane Roof Top Unit gas package units that provide heating and cooling. Provide lifting equipment as needed to install RTUs. Provide (4) curbs to properly support Roof Top Unit as required by manufacturer's specifications. See exhibit A for an engineering recommendation. Contractors are required to perform their own assessment before commencing work. Provide supply and return air components as necessary per manufacturer’s specifications. Provide and install programmable thermostat(s) control as needed for systems to operate properly. Provide electrical power for HVAC unit from existing electrical systems, including installation of panel, breakers, receptacles and wiring necessary for system to properly operate. Provide gas supply with corresponding Isolating valves to all RTUs. Contractor shall coordinate necessary penetrations with the roofing Contractor, Garland/DBS, Inc. Garland shall perform all necessary roofing penetrations needed for the installation of the RTUs. All condensation draining pipes properly secured, all pipes extended to the gutter to discharge onto gutter. Clean area of all construction debris. Test system for proper operation and review installation with Owner. Provide Floor protect as needed to perform work and install new system. The Contractor should include all necessary materials, components, connections, and equipment needed for the completion of the HVAC systems and their proper operations. As well as to complete the work, including but not limited to those items needed to access the work areas in order to complete the work. Such as lifts, cranes, hoists, scaffolding, etc. |
