Tree Maintenance Projects at Forest Preserves District Wide Project

Primary objective: Dead and Hazard tree removal throughout Forest Preserves’ trail systems totaling approximately 2345 diameter inches of trees based on current District needs. Additional tree removals may be added to work according to approved funding. Trees shall be marked in accordance with list provided by Forest Preserve District of DuPage County staff. Each year the Forest Preserve Staff will provide a list of Preserves for tree maintenance, identify the trees that need to be maintained and its total approximate measurement in inch diameter no later than October 30th of each year. This 2020 year the following Preserve locations and totals are as follows: Waterfall Glen – approximately 1833”, Herrick Lake - approximately 445”, Greene Valley – approximately 573”, and Pratts Wayne Woods – approximately 444”
