| Description | Invitation for Bid (IFB) W912P621B0017 for work to include installation backup power system for the Indiana Harbor gradient control system on the southeast side of the facility. This backup power work will involve the installation of a 250KW generator with a 480-12.47kV step-up transformer. Additional switchgear will also have to be installed to replace the existing 4-way switch for automatic power transfer capabilities. Other work will include raising the monitoring wells above grade and adding a moisture proof enclosure above ground located in East Chicago, IN (Lake County). |
