Description

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The project is located at San Jacinto Wildlife Area, Riverside County, California The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to install new domestic water treatment systems and other miscellaneous work, as outlined in the Items of Work. License Requirements: A or B or C-55 Participation in Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Program (DVBE): The minimum DVBE participation percentage goal is 3%. Failure to fulfill the DVBE requirement will render your bid non-responsive. DVBE Incentive: For evaluation purposed only, an incentive will be given to bidders who exceed the 3% DVBE participation requirements. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders. Small Business Preference and Small business Subcontractor participation: A five percent (5%) Small business Preference will be granted to properly certified small businesses (a completed STD 811 must be submitted with the bid proposal). As of March 1, 2015, Senate Bill 854 requires that: No Contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. Failure to register with DIR or list sub-contractors not registered will render your bid non-responsive Bids of $5,000 and over shall have enclosed, a Cashiers Check, Certified Check, or a Bidder's Bond executed as surety by a corporation authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California, made payable to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, in an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount bid.
