Description | Kitchen: Remove two walls, two base cabinets and cork finish. Sheetrock and Taping: All sheetrock and taping work shall be applied to the 2nd and 3rd floor of the office space. The contractor shall supply and install sheetrock in kitchenette where cork finish was removed. Patch all locations above the drop ceiling where any open holes are located. Supply, and install sheetrock where patch work is required. All sheetrock shall be properly taped, with the application of three coats. Drop Ceiling: Repair all damaged ceiling grid and replace all ceiling tiles throughout the 2nd and 3rd floor. Flooring: Replace and install new carpeting tile with manufacturer’s adhesive throughout the 2nd and 3rd floor. Supply and install new rubber base in all carpeting areas on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The City will provide a $30.00/square foot allowance for carpeting. Carpet samples shall be provided by the contractor and selections will be made by the City after award. The restroom will require VCT patch work. The kitchenette located on the 3’~ floor will require the new VCT with rubber base. Electrical: Remove and replace 2x2 and 2x4 fluorescent lighting 25 watt 3500K and 40 watt 3500K lights. Remove and replace 6” recessed lighting bulbs with LED 18 watt flood lights. Replace all exit lighting with new emergency lighting in the hallways. Additional work shall include receptacle, single pole switch, and GFI replacement with new plates. Plumbing: Remove and replace sprinkler head escutcheons only on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Painting: All painting shall include prep, spot priming and the applications of two 2 coasts to each wall, door and door frame, trim and railings. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
