Academy Road Water and Wastewater Relocations

consists of the relocation of certain City of Walterboro water and waste water system components in support of the RouteUS-15/S-130/S-754 Intersection Improvements. These include the relocation of three(3)1-inch water meters and a backflow preventer; the transfer of the 1-inch service connections from an existing 3-inch water main to an adjacent existing 8-inch water main; the transfer of one(1) 2-inch water service connection from an existing 3-inch water main to an adjacent existing 8-inch water main; the removal and replacement of a 2-inch water service line through an existing casing pipe; there location of an existing fire hydrant; the abandonment and capping of the existing 3-inch water main; there location and lowering of a section of existing 10-inch sewer force main under a proposed storm drain pipe which will be installed by others; and the raising of the frames and covers of three(3) existing sewer manholes.
