Description

The Contractor will perform maintenance visits to examine, maintain, adjust, and lubricate the components listed below. In addition, unless specifically excluded below, the Contractor will repair or replace the components listed below if the repair or replacement is necessitated by normal wear and tear. Unless specifically included elsewhere in this Agreement or unless Purchaser has separately contracted with the Contractor for the work, all other work related to the equipment is Purchaser's responsibility. Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to anthony.cowden@cincinnatistate.edu by Friday August, 12 by 2:00 pm with the project name included in the subject line. Questions will be answered and posted on the College prior to the response date. Service will be provided monthly, during first shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am. - 4:30 pm Service personnel must be QEI and GET certified. Service must assure a safe, reliable system. Contractor furnishes lubricants, cleaning materials, including hydraulic fluid. Contractor will clean the pit as needed, but not the removal of water. Contractor will test and log firefighter's Phase I & Phase II, monthly. Contractor is responsible for all lighting systems associated with elevator service. Contractor is responsible for operation of in-car emergency alarm bell systems. Contractor will maintain log and contact owner after each monthly visit. Contractor will maintain log and contact owner after each monthly visit. Overtime must be approved by owner. Service is for one (1) year and 9 months, with options to renew an additional two (2) years. Period: October 1st, 2022 - June 30th, 2024 plus an optional two-year contract. Examine and report condition of controller voltages, motors and oil levels, controller, including relays, timers, circuit boards, rectifiers, resistors, and transformer, telephone in cab, car guides, door operator system, including motor, belts, clutches, contracts, and car door hangers. Provide lubricants compounded to meet specifications and selected and tested for the service conditions required. Contractor shall perform annual relief valve tests as required, annual traction test and Five year full load traction test. Test report shall be sent to the State of Ohio Elevator Inspection office by the contractor upon completion of the test.
