Description

SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, insurance, fuel, tools, machinery, transportation, and other goods and services necessary to perform window washing, other surface cleaning, and power washing services. Washing interior and exterior windows, including all frames (heads, jambs, and sills), mullion, grilles, and other related surfaces shall be defined as the complete removal of smudges, tape, bird droppings, oily film, and other types of soil, streaks, and marks from all designated surfaces. LOCATIONS: The Contractor shall perform work only at locations for which the City has issued a written Notice to Proceed. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the minimum requirements herein with additional services as set forth in the Contractor's bid response and in a manner acceptable to the City. The City may, at its discretion, add or delete any of the listed locations from the initial award and other departments may request quotes for services required for new locations. 3.2.1 Location A: Springfield- Branson National Airport (Main Terminal), 2300 N. Airport Blvd., Springfield, MO 3.2.1.1 Non-Secure, Public Area 3.2.1.2 Secure Area 3.2.2 Location B: Expedia Terminal (Old Terminal), 5000 W. Kearney, Springfield, MO 3.2.3 Location C: Midwest Premier (General Aviation Building), 2801 N. General Aviation Ave., Springfield, MO SCHEDULING AND FREQUENCY: 3.3.1 The Contractor shall perform the services between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the option to perform the services on Saturdays if their schedule allows and is agreed upon by both parties, except for City-observed holidays. The City observes nine (9) scheduled holidays a year. The holiday schedule is as follows: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Services in areas difficult to access or that are not conveniently accessible may be required by the City to schedule accordingly outside of such hours listed above. 3.3.2 Frequency of services and a detailed schedule of work will be provided for each facility and shall be determined by the designated City Representative. Deviations from the schedule shall be coordinated and approved by the designated City Representative. The Contractor shall respond promptly to service requests from the City. Window cleaning must be consecutively cleaned once the work has been started. 3.3.3 The Contractor shall coordinate all aspects of its service schedule with the designated City Representative and reconfirm the approved schedule at least ten (10) calendar days in advance to avoid any disruption of business or use of the facilities. Further, the designated City Representative shall have the right, in their reasonable discretion, to suspend, delay or interrupt the services due to such disruption of business or use. The Contractor shall not be entitled to additional compensation for such reason and agrees to work cooperatively to reschedule services promptly and without delay. 3.3.4 The Contractor acknowledges that service frequencies set forth in this agreement or provided by the designated City Representative are estimates only. The City has not and shall not guarantee any minimum payment, profit, or quantity/frequency of services. The City shall not be held liable for contractual agreements/obligations or damages incurred by the Contractor relating to such quantities/frequencies in any manner or to any extent. The cutoff for any questions pertaining to this bid is March 30, 2023, at 12:00 P.M. (CST). HAND DELIVERED, FAXED, OR EMAILED BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
