Wind Retrofit Roof Replacement

As of May 11, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline or award has not yet been established. Town Hall Hardening Wind Retrofit Roof Replacement Contractor shall replace the existing asphalt roof and replace it with a new TPO roof membrane system having uniform thickness and manufactured to have consistent physical properties throughout the sheet. The roof shall be built to last 25 years, at a minimum. The Town reserves the right to change the submission deadline, to issue amendments to the Request for Proposals, or to cancel or reissue the Request for Proposals without any penalty. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, and to waive minor irregularities. Further, the Town is not liable for any costs incurred by the Proposers including, but not limited to, the costs incurred by the Proposers for the presentation of their Proposal and the attendance at any presentation. The Town will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in information provided, nor for the failure of the Proposers to determine the full extent of the effort necessary to provide the requested services. Questions concerning the Invitation to Proposal shall be submitted only by electronic mail to Stephanie Woodbury from the Public Services Department, at: Swoodbury@tppfl.gov. No questions shall be answered orally. Questions must be submitted in writing to the Public Services Department at Swoodbury@tppfl.gov no later than 5:00 PM on or before Monday, March 06, 2023. Answers to questions related to the project will be posted on the Town's website. . DESCRIPTION OF WORK Town of Pembroke Park, Florida ("TOWN") is soliciting sealed Proposals from qualified licensed contractors to furnish all materials, labor, supervision, shop drawings, transportation, inspections, permits, licenses, equipment, and all incidentals necessary as shown under Exhibit 1 for the FEMA project number 4337-338-R. The purpose and intent of this REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS is to establish a Contractor who shall perform the removal and replacement of the roof for the wind retrofit of the Town Hall building. Contractor shall replace the existing asphalt roof and replace it with a new TPO roof membrane system having uniform thickness and manufactured to have consistent physical properties throughout the sheet. The roof shall be built to last 25 years, at a minimum.
