Description | The Town of East Granby Connecticut is accepting proposals from qualified consulting firms (herein after individually referred to as the "Consultant ") to provide a Master Concept Plan to include shortterm and long-term recommendations for our Village Center and Commerce Park Transition Zones. East Granby is a picturesque New England Town that grew up along the wooded banks and meadows of the Salmon Brook and Farmington River. East Granby is located in Hartford County, North Central Connecticut. It is centrally located approximately 16 miles North of Hartford and 16 miles South of Springfield MA. It is contiguous to the towns of Suffield to the North, Windsor Locks, and Windsor to the East, Suffield and Granby to the West, Simsbury and Bloomfield to the South. The state major transportation routes through East Granby include Route 20 East / West and Routes 189 187 North / South. Routes 20 and 187 intersect at the current town center. Information Gathering - The development of a credible Master Concept Plan is dependent upon comprehensive efforts utilized to gather sufficient input from all stakeholders. The result of the information gathering sessions must be categorized in a logical and systematic fashion and incorporated into the Plan as appropriate. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Bid Document RFP EG Village Center Master Concept Plan 2022" addressed to the Town of East Granby, and with the name and address of the consultant on the outside of the envelope. All proposals, responses, inquiries, correspondence or other documents relating to this RFP will become the property of the Town of East Granby when received. The Town of East Granby reserves the right to use any or all ideas presented in any proposal, whether amended or not; selection or rejection of a proposal does not affect this right. It is an explicit provision of this RFP that any oral communication is not binding on the Town of East Granby. The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time. |
