Description | The Westfield Community Center is accepting bid proposals for Installation of a New Fire Alarm System. Contractors will remove old system and install new system to full State and Local Codes. Installation should include, main control fire panel, smoke detectors, pull stations, heat detectors, fire horn/strobes, all with zone modules, see scope for breakdown. The building location is 558 W. Broad St., Westfield, NJ 07090. "Please Be Advised That Federal Funds Through Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 Are Being Utilized in This Project" All bidders shall conform to the intentions and provisions of Affirmative Action in Public Contracts Laws of the State of New Jersey R.S 10:2-1 of 7/23/75, Assembly Bill No. 2227. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. All bidders are required to comply with the Davis-Bacon Act and Related Acts as amended (DBRA) as listed in David Bacon Wage Determinations and must have a Public Works Certification and DUNS/Federal ID number and abide by all of the Federal Requirements. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked for the proposed job and bearing the name and address of the bidder on outside. Bids are delivered to the Westfield Community Center and be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check and Consent of Surety, made payable to the Westfield Community Center, in the amount of ten per cent (10%) of the total bid to secure performance. Scope of work package will be available at the Westfield Community Center on 11/11/2022. Bids will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.
