Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District Southerly Secondary Effluent Capacity Improvements

For the Southerly Secondary Effluent Capacity Improvements. In general, the work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for construction of the following work: 1. The demolition of four overhead 48" diameter butterfly valves, four 48" diameter effluent butterfly valves that are located in the chlorine contact tanks, overhead 48" diameter steel filter effluent bypass pipes that include 36" diameter magnetic flow meters and harnessed couplings. 2. The installation of watertight bulkheads in the filter influent channel. 3. Installation of four new 48" diameter steel pipes and harnessed couplings. 4. Installation of four new ultrasonic style clamp-on flow meters to the new 48" steel pipes. 5. Installation of District furnished 48" diameter influent knife gate valves and motorized actuators and 48" diameter effluent butterfly valves and motorized actuators. 6. Electrical and instrumentation work. 7. Site and/or building areas restoration disturbed during construction.
