Description

The City of East Lansing is seeking proposals from qualified housing developers for the development of property owned by the City of East Lansing which which was recently appraised at approximately $2.8 Million. The "Subject Property" is approximately 26.83 Acres at the southwest corner of Coleman and West Roads, and has been approved by the voters for sale. The City has indicated its desire to find a development partner who can develop an economically viable project while also creating significant housing opportunities at price points suitable to meet demand from low and moderate income households currently experiencing difficulties entering the East Lansing housing market. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
