Construct F Ranch Resource Protection Fencing - Point Reyes National Seashore(PORE)

CONSTRUCT F RANCH RESOURCE PROTECTION FENCING, POINT REYES NATIONAL SEASHORE, MARIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. The National Park Service at Point Reyes National Seashore has a requirement for the installation of resource protection fencing. Work includes the installation of 1,425 linear feet of new 4-wire fencing with double-stranded braided barbed and smooth wire, galvanized t-posts, and untreated wood post for H-braces and line posts. The fence will include 1 barbed wire gate and 2 pedestrian gates. The project location is along the south end of F Ranch, near the end of Bull Point Trail within Point Reyes National Seashore. Work may also include the optional repair of approximately 395 linear feet of existing fencing. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and supplies necessary to complete the work as identified in the project specifications and associated documents provided as attachments to the solicitation. Per FAR 36.204 the project range is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 238990, with a corresponding size standard of $16.5 million in annual gross receipts for the past three years. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Quotations are solicited only from small business concerns. Quotations received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall not be considered. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed-price purchase order resulting from this solicitation. Evaluation for award will be made in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures outlined in FAR Part 13.106. The Government anticipates issuing an order resulting from this request for quotation to the responsible quoter whose quotation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered as listed in the Request for Quotation (see Section M). Other details: Summer weather on the point can be foggy, wet, cold, or windy compared to inland conditions. Site access will require 4WD and moderate clearance. Access is via an unimproved trail across actively grazed grassland with some shrub cover. Site visit is expected to take 3 hours including drive time from headquarters. Bull Point Trail directions from park headquarters: Turn left onto Bear Valley Rd. (1.7 mi); Head slightly left at the stop sign intersection of Bear Valley Road onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd (5.6 mi). Continue to the left at intersection with Pierce Point Road, Bull Point Trailhead will be on your left approximately 5 miles after passing the intersection with Pierce Point Rd.
