Design Services for Four Pump Station Rehabilitations

The project includes pump stations, D13 of 82194, located on NB I-75 at Wheelock; D02 of 82251, located on SB I-75 at Chrysler Freeway; D01 of 82252, located on SB I-75 at E. Grand Blvd.; D04 of 82252, located on SB I-75 at Holbrook St. in the City of Detroit, Wayne County. Work involved in the design of the project consists of the development of final plans and specifications for the rehabilitation of the pump station including: Replace existing pumps with submersible or vertical style pumps Service, replace, or upgrade electrical control equipment to accommodate generators Structural rehabilitation of existing pump stations Replacement of trash racks, ladders, doors, and railings Hatch replacement Modify structure to meet confined space/hazardous area requirements Additional heating and/or ventilation requirements install remote monitoring system
