Replacement of Darien-Alexander Townline Road over Tannery Brook

The work under Contract No. 1 - D040234, P.I.N. 4GN0.05 Replacement of Darien Alexander Townline Road over Tannery Brook (BIN 3315610) is located in the Towns of Darien and Alexander, Genesee County, New York. This project will remove the existing superstructure and cut down the existing substructure. The new bridge will be a simple span on a similar horizontal and vertical alignment. The superstructure will be adjacent precast concrete beams with a cast-in-place concrete deck. The substructure will consist of a cast-in-place concrete integral abutment founded on piles driven to bedrock. Medium stone fill will be placed between the existing abutments and proposed abutments, and around the wingwalls. There will be 250 feet of full depth roadway reconstruction. New bridge and approach guide railing will be installed within the project limits. The projects limits extend from: 135 feet to the south and 145 feet to the north of the existing bridge.
