Description | Renovation of a multi-residential development in Madison, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development. DESCRIPTION: Provide materials, labor, and services necessary for complete, safe replacement of existing decking in accordance with Architectural plans & specifications. b. QUALIFICATIONS: i. All prospective contractors must be able to prove to the satisfaction of the Authority that they have the skill and experience, as well as the necessary facilities, ample financial resources, organization and general reliability to do the work to be performed under the provisions of this contract. c. REQUIRMENTS: i. Request for Quote Form ii. New Jersey Business Registration Certificate iii. Valid Insurance Certificate iv. Public Works Contractor Registration v. EEO & Affirmative Action Program Affidavit vi. Non-collusion Affidavit Form vii. Stockholder Disclosure Certification 2. In lieu of Performance & Payment Bond, payment will be made upon successful completion of work. This project is subject to New Jersey Local Public Contract Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11). Certified payrolls at New Jersey prevailing wage will be required prior to approval of any applications for payment. Attention is called to the fact that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their age, race, creed, color, national origin ancestry, marital status, sex affectional or sexual orientation and to the greatest extent possible, opportunities for training and employment shall be given to lower-income residents of the project area and that, when possible, contracts shall be awarded to business concerns owned by area residents. Small, Minority and Womens Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit quotes. The Authority retains the right to reject any and all quotes, award contract in whole or in part, and waive immaterial informalities if deemed to be to the Owner's advantage to do so. |
